T

he BNI Java Jazz Festival 2022, presented by PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. or BNI (stock code: BBNI) is returning after a one-year absence. To ramp up the hype, BNI held the BNI Java Jazz On The Move (JJOTM) at the Mall of Indonesia (MOI) on Sunday, April 24.

BNI is counting on the euphoria of jazz lovers for the main event on May 27-29. Unlike the main festival, JJOTM has been running annually on weekends in many different venues in the Greater Jakarta area.

One of the young musicians that performed at JJOTM is Rizky Febian, who will also make his appearance at the core event. Rizky is famous for hits such as “Terlukis Indah” (Lovingly Painted), “Salah” (Wrong), “Makna Cinta” (Meaning of Love) and “Hingga Tua Bersama” (Until We’re Old).

“I’m happy BNI is back to support the BNI Java Jazz Festival because we have worked together for so many years. Just being given the opportunity to perform at the BNI Java Jazz Festival is already a huge honor and I will get to gather with many other artists during the event,” said the singer, who has always had full faith in BNI.

Another soloist is Oslo Ibrahim, who broke into the Tokio Hot 100 chart, one of the most competitive radio music charts in Japan. He is largely known for captivating hits such as “Baby Don’t Let Me Go”, “_catchy beat_” and “melodi”.

"Thank you very much for holding the BNI Java Jazz Festival again. I hope you’ll always be there for and support the creative industry. I am glad to perform at BNI Java Jazz," he said.

BNI Java Jazz On The Move (JJOTM) events will continue on Saturday, April 30 at the Coffee Walk Mal Putri Indah featuring Endah n Rhesa and Aditya Sofyan. At JJOTM, jazz lovers can get tickets for daily passes and special BNI Java Jazz Festival shows at special prices, as well as special edition BNI TapCash cards.

As Indonesia’s global bank, BNI is in full support of the BNI International Java Jazz Festival (BNIJJF2022) which will commence at JiExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, on May 27-29. There will be international artists such as PJ Morton, Alex Porat, Dirty Loops, Emma - Jean Thackray, Gabe Bondoc, Hablot Brown, Jakob Ogawa, Jarrod Lawson, Johnny Stimson, Keyon Harrold, Samm Henshaw and The Bad Plus.
