BNI attracts millennial entrepreneurs at BNI Java Jazz 2022

NI Java Jazz Festival 2022 was expected to bring in flocks of young entrepreneurs who would enjoy the shows while partaking in business matchmaking. Throughout the festival, state-owned PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI, stock code: BBNI) introduced financial solution products to millennial business owners who wanted to grow their businesses.
BNI senior wholesale solution vice president, Indra Gunawan, said the jazz concert was the biggest in Indonesia and had become a meeting point for many millennials after two years of the pandemic. Not only millennials, the BNI Java Jazz Festival 2022 also became a thriving space for entry-level businessmen and young start-up owners to engage in business matching.
“Seeing this opportunity, BNI wanted to socialize and provide business solutions that specifically target fintech, small and medium enterprises, start-up businesses and other young entrepreneurs.” said Indra.
He added that entrepreneurs must not only focus on expansion but also financial management, thus ensuring the continuity of their businesses. Some of the products BNI offered at the festival for that purpose encompassed financial governance (cash management) in the form of cash-in management features such as BNI eCollection (virtual account) and auto debit, liquidity management such as cash pooling and cash distribution, bank guarantees and supply chain financing.
BNI also offered cash-out payment management systems such as BNIDirect or BNI’s corporate internet banking. “BNIDirect has payment features such as etax payments, bill payments and an epayroll. In addition, there are also features for transfers such as in-house transfers and international transfers," he added.
A more solution-oriented BNI
Indra explained that BNI Direct’s current users totaled 70,000 and this number was expected to continue growing significantly each year. Aside from its easy navigation, Indra shared that BNI also had assistance programs that added to its value. Businesses with their own financial systems could be integrated with BNI through the application programming interface or API Services via https://digitalservices.bni.co.id.
Meanwhile, businesses without an integrated financial system could immediately use BNIDirect Mobile. BNI has more than 283 types of API services with 4,000 corporate customers ready to level up with BNI.
“Through BNI’s programs, we want to offer more practical business finance solutions. Aside from our state-of-the-art technology, we also have a proactive support team to help entrepreneurs answer their financial needs," Indra concluded.
