n Pancasila Day, which fell on Wednesday, microfinance state-owned enterprise (SOE) PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) donated an ambulance to the Malomo Wali-Wali Foundation in Jakarta. Executive vice president of business I PNM Sasono Hantarto symbolically handed over the ambulance to Malomo Wali-Wali Foundation representative A. Musbihin.

“The handover of this ambulance is part of PNM’s commitment to speed up the end of the COVID-19 pandemic through various public service assistance programs. Hopefully, it will help with the transportation of patients to the hospital, which will benefit the Malomo Wali-Wali Foundation, the public and health workers,” said Sasono.

Sasono said he hoped that the ambulance would be useful in supporting the Malomo Wali-Wali Foundation’s operational activities, from handling emergencies such as natural disasters to aiding people who were ill or transporting the deceased.

Meanwhile, Musbihin expressed his gratitude for PNM’s donation. He said the ambulance would be used optimally for the foundation’s operations.

As of Wednesday, PNM had disbursed Rp 127 trillion (US$8.8 billion) in financing to 11.7 million customers. Currently, PNM has over 3,386 PNM Mekaar officers and 688 PNM ULaMM service offices across Indonesia, serving small and medium enterprises in 34 provinces, 443 regencies and cities and 5,640 districts.
