T Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM), through the Business Capacity Development (PKU) program, has held a training program for 300 PNM Mekaar clients.
Held at Favehotel Cimanuk Garut, West Java, the Mekaar Customer Business Meeting (TUNM) was attended by PNM Mekaar clients from six branches (Karangpawitan 3, Sukawening, Wanaraja, Pangatikan, Pangatikan 2, Cibatu Garut 2).
All 300 participants received a Business Identification Number (NIB), and were also given material on the importance of saving and digital transactions to on-board them as BRI Link agents as a form of ultra-micro holding between PNM and BRI.
The event was attended by the head of the Garut Capital Investment and One-Stop Services Agency (DPMPTSP) Drs. Wahyudijaya M.Si, head of the Garut DPMPTSP Economic Licensing and Natural Resources Division Drs. Wanwan Arief Gunawan M.Si, BRI Garut micro marketing manager Miftakhul Huda and PNM Garut branch head Abu Hassan.
The event was designed to increase client knowledge of the importance of having an NIB, saving in a bank, understanding digital transactions, as well as developing a business, so as to improve family welfare.
"The regional government appreciates the PNM PKU program, which fosters business actors, especially women, to have a business license like NIB," said Wahyudijaya.
Abu Hassan said "My hope in the future is that the training provided by PNM PKU can be useful so that women understand business licensing and obtain business facilities such as the NIB.”
As of June 13, PNM had disbursed Rp. 128.49 trillion in financing to 11,872 million PNM Mekaar customers. Currently, PNM has 3,488 PNM Mekaar offices and 688 PNM ULaMM offices throughout Indonesia, serving micro and small enterprises (MSEs) in 34 provinces, 422 regencies and cities, and 5,640 subdistricts.
