umalaku.id is a new innovative project that was conceived by a collaboration between Living Lab X and Pashouses. Living Lab X is the incubation and partnership division of Living Lab Ventures, while Pashouses is a local start-up company.

The project targets secondary home owners who are willing to sell their home quickly and accurately. Therefore, Rumalaku.id cooperates with Sinar Mas Land in order to accommodate sellers and buyers in the housing market located in BSD City and its surrounding areas.

“Through Living Lab Ventures, Sinar Mas Land selects start-ups of choice to accelerate the transformation agenda across all projects in Sinar Mas Land. This collaboration with Rumalaku.id provides homeowners in the Sinar Mas Land project with a trusted platform with accurate information so as to facilitate the process of selling secondary homes better,” said Mulyawan Gani, chief transformation officer of Sinar Mas Land.

“We are grateful for Living Lab Ventures' trust in accelerating Pashouses. Through this collaboration, we will operate and develop a property buying and selling website, namely rumalaku.id. This strategic collaboration is carried out to answer the needs of investors to get property easily in BSD City through a digital platform that can be accessed anytime and anywhere,” added Junghans Tasani as CEO and cofounder of Pashouses.

Living Lab Ventures partner Bayu Seto echoed the statement and said that this collaboration would be a first step for Pashouses in optimizing secondary property buying and selling services, and hoped that in the future, it can be applied to a wider area on a national scale outside of BSD City. Both parties feel that rumalaku.id is the solution that buyers and sellers have been yearning for in the housing market.

The properties included in the innovative platform are specifically listed for secondary landed houses located in BSD City and its surroundings, so that owners or sellers can interact directly with potential buyers instead of going through a middleman via the more conventional road. Moreover, prospective buyers are also facilitated with a variety of choices of furnished houses that are ready to be lived in.

On the other hand, owners who want to sell their homes can be assisted by Pashouses in carrying out minor renovations so that the house is ready to sell at the best price. The start-up company is also able to help prospective sellers with the marketing process and help potential buyers to get the best mortgage.
