ounder and CEO of supplier-to-business-to-consumer (S2B2) e-commerce PT Wook Global Technology (Wook), Xu Long Hua, has just earned a spot among the Global 100 Outstanding Chinese according to Forbes. He was crowned Top of the Profession with 35 other leaders from big-name companies such as TikTok CEO Shou Zi, Nvidia Asia Pacific vice president of sales and marketing Zheng Yita and PayerMax global business leader Stella Wu.
In Indonesia, Wook’s subsidiaries VIVAN and ROBOT dominated the electronic appliances and device accessories market. Both brands took 40-50 percent of the market share in powerbanks, with VIVAN gaining the Top Brand Award consecutively since 2015. Currently, Wook has over 40,000 retail outlets across Indonesia.
“From the very beginning, our company has been upholding an efficient business model to accelerate and improve the performance of digital equipment manufacturers’ supply chain management systems. Suppliers no longer require their own sales and marketing teams as all products uploaded on Wook can be seen and bought by every store in Indonesia through our secure platform,” explained Xu in Jakarta.
Aside from VIVAN and ROBOT, Wook is also the owner of ACOME, GAMEN (gaming accessories), SAMONO (home appliances), Bonbox (home living), Sooku and Rona (home decor), Berlala (cosmetics), Sharkwin (fashion), and NAMOTA (automotive). Other brands included Hilook, M&G, VIVO, Goneo, EZVIZ, ORICO, HIKVISION, TP.LINK and also MINISO.
In its operation, Wook is supported by three core pillars: a professional research and development team, advanced technology and machinery to ensure quality service, and a strong marketing team. Wook’s efficient internet-based system also provides the best digital customer experience amid changing customer behavior trends.
Xu believes Wook’s business solutions can help partners transform their businesses into becoming more sustainable while guaranteeing an easier, more streamlined and safe transaction from customers. The company also assures that it will continue to innovate in response to current shopping trends.
“Wook’s reach includes offline markets, e-commerce platforms and TikTok shops. Offline markets take up most of the share, contributing up to 50 percent in sales,” Xu further explained.
