PNM signs an agreement with kemenko PMK aiming to lessen poverty in Indonesia

T Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) continues to optimize its support for  underprivileged communities by collaborating with the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture.

The collaboration was made official with the signing of a cooperation agreement at the PNM head office, Menara PNM, Jakarta on Thursday, carried out by PNM President Director Arief Mulyadi and Deputy for Coordination of Social Welfare improvement Andie Megantara.

The cooperation agreement covers the exchange and use of electronic data in the context of accelerating the elimination of extreme poverty in Indonesia. Moreover, it is also deepen the PK discussion workshop and matching of targeting data between PNM and the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture.

"Hopefully the signing of this cooperation agreement can optimize the synergy of two parties between PT PNM and the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture, especially in regard to the mission of accelerating the handling of extreme poverty," Arief said.

"Thanks to PT PNM, the signing of the cooperation agreement as a follow-up to the workshop and the matching of targeted data for the acceleration of the elimination of extreme poverty can be carried out today. This collaboration is not just data, but a program. This signing is not the end, but rather the beginning for us in optimizing the handling of extreme poverty in Indonesia,” Andie concluded in his remarks.

PNM has consistently supported the economy, in which it had disbursed Rp 147.37 trillion in financing to 12.9 million PNM Mekaar customers as of Oct. 19, 2022 . Currently, PNM has 4,138 service offices throughout Indonesia, serving MSMEs in 34 provinces, 422 regencies and cities, and 5,640 sub-districts.
