T. LG Electronics Indonesia (LG) has officially launched its newest OLED TV variant, the LG OLED evo C3, at the Pekan Raya Jakarta (PRJ), held at the Jakarta International Expo in Kemayoran, Central Jakartas, starting June 14.
Designed to offer a higher level of cinematic experience at home, the LG OLED evo C3 boasts collaborative innovation on both the visual and audio side.
"LG OLED evo C3 brings together LG's expertise on the visual and audio side with artificial intelligence (AI)-based development," said Hoony Bae, product director of Home Entertainment for LG Electronics Indonesia.
These various developments, he continues, complement the application of the latest OLED panels brought by the LG C3 OLED evo, which was born from LG's 10-year experience as a global pioneer of OLED TVs.
Hoony Bae explained that LG used the momentum of its presence at the 496th Jakarta anniversary celebrations to also celebrate a decade of LG OLED TV. In addition to the debut of the LG OLED evo C3, LG also showcased the LG OLED Pose, which was made specifically with a high aesthetic value in its design.
As a new release for 2023, the LG C3 OLED evo model supports Ultra HD 4K resolution thanks to its smart processor with the latest AI support. Developed by LG under the name AI Processor α9 Gen6, the processor is capable of two innovative technologies, namely AI Picture Pro, which handles visuals and AI Sound Pro which specifically improves audio.
On the visual side, AI Picture Pro relies on OLED Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro for its strength. As LG's most advanced image reproduction technology at the moment, its existence works to divide and analyze images in 20,000 color blocks by detecting the darkest and brightest areas on the 83, 77, 65, 55, 48 and 42 inch LG OLED evo C3 screen.
This feature then works to optimize it to create a more immersive feel for the audience. "It is able to reveal various details the creators intended to be part of building a dramatic feel in shows, but previously not shown on other TVs," said Vincent Martana, head of Product Marketing Home Entertainment of LG Electronics Indonesia.
Adding to the LG C3 OLED evo TV is the HDR Expression Enhancer, which works specifically to detect and enhance important objects on the screen, such as human faces, in each scene. With increased acuity and three-dimensional mapping supported by the use of deep learning as part of the applied AI in it, the feature showcases richer details to create more emotional engagement for the audience.
The big innovation on the visual side was matched by developments that were no less special in terms of listening pleasure thanks to the AI Sound Pro feature, which allows LG’s latest OLED TV able to present audio nuances with surround 9.1.2 channels from integrated speakers and without the addition of other connected devices.
"Its visual capabilities are supported by audio power, which is virtually capable of producing sound from various directions filling the room, making the user feel as if they are in their favorite content being enjoyed," says Vincent Martana.
Flexibility is also an added convenience for future owners of the LG evo C3 series OLED. The implementation of a swivel stand support allows the user to rotate the direction of the screen to match their preferred viewing angle. Even though the TV is equipped with visual capabilities that provide the same quality as a wide viewing angle, this flexibility is an important addition that provides greater opportunities in choosing where to place the LG OLED evo C3 in a room.
Bringing all the advantages in a single package, the LG OLED evo C3 is offered in a range from 42 inches for Rp 14 million to 83 inches for Rp 92 million. Enthusiasts and PRJ visitors will be able to experience the cinematic sensation brought by the LG OLED evo C3 by visiting the LG booth, which is located in Hall D2 No. 70, at the Jakarta International Expo.
