Human Initiative distributes ‘qurban’ to 210,000 families via Sebar Qurban program

T

hrough its Sebar Qurban program, Human Initiative has delivered qurban to over 210,000 families in remote areas of Indonesia and seven other countries across the globe.

Rully Barlian Thamrin, vice president of resources at Human Initiative, said during the closing ceremony of Sebar Qurban 2023 that the Sebar Qurban program aligned with the institution's vision, “Goodness for Dignity”. Through this program, Human Initiative has mobilized charity to expand the benefits of qurban with dignifying measures.

"Sebar Qurban is evidence of our obedience and sincerity. Thus, by being part of the Sebar Qurban 2023 program, the qurban donors, beneficiaries and livestock farmers become brothers and sisters," said Rully.

Carrying on the theme “Worthful Qurbani,” every qurban transaction from Human Initiative donors will empower local livestock farmers. Furthermore, the qurban will be distributed to citizens in remote areas of Indonesia and overseas who are waiting for the opportunity to consume meat on the occasion of Idul Adha.

Representing the Sebar Qurban team of Human Initiative, Muhammad Alwi stated that Human Initiative involved 1,200 volunteers across Indonesia, Somalia, Uganda, Palestine, Myanmar, Turkey, Kenya and Tanzania. Additionally, according to reports Human Initiative has calculated that a total of 210,835 families have received qurban meat.

"Human Initiative strives to apply transparency and accountability by submitting the reports within a maximum of 14 days starting from July 2. We hope that this goodness continues to provide benefits to the community. Let us continue moving forward in goodness for dignity," concluded Muhammad Alwi.
