PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk (PT PP) on July 28 held Srikandi BUMN (SOE) Goes to Campus at the PPAG Auditorium of Parahyangan Catholic University (Unpar), a renowned private university located in Bandung, West Java.

Themed “Infrastructure for Sustainability”, the talk show style discussion series and gave students an opportunity to engage with expert speakers.
The event saw the participation of more than 1,000 students, from both Unpar and other notable institutions in Bandung: Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), National Institute of Technology, Bandung (Itenas), Maranatha University, Widyatama University, Education University of Indonesia (UPI), Bandung State Polytechnic (Polban), Harapan Bangsa Institute of Technology (ITHB), Indonesian Computer University (Unikom) and Padjajaran University.
Among the key attendees were Sinur Linda Gustina, PT PP’s director of corporate strategy and human capital management (HCM), and Unpar chancellor Prof. Tri Basuki Joewono, Ph.D. Speakers for the event included Dwi Aji Wicaksono, general manager of the PT PP Building Operations Division, Astri Oktaviani, senior manager of risk management and Febry Indra Permana as senior manager of talent management. Both Dwi and Astri are alumni of Unpar.
"Today is a special day because this is a real step for the students who are here to start planning for the future to know more about what SOEs are,” shared Tri. He added that SOEs should not only be seen as a place to work, but a place for self-development, self-actualization, serving and making life better. The professor encouraged students to fill their curiosity, answer doubts and challenge their own desires to be successful in the future.
Speaking to students, Linda described the role and contribution of SOEs as value creators and agents of development for the public interest. She explained that SOEs are present in all aspects of life with 12 industrial clusters and implement AKHLAK in behavior, thinking concepts and as part of the companies’ standard operating procedures. AKHLAK stands for Amanah, or trustworthiness, Competent, Harmonious, Loyal, Adaptive and Collaborative, which are the core values of Indonesian SOEs.
In addition, PT PP has also implemented a Respectful Workplace Policy to prevent discrimination, violence or harassment in the work environment to create a conducive work environment. According to Linda, everyone has the same opportunities for careers from all disciplines and she hoped that students would be motivated and have the desire to continue their careers in SOEs.
Dwi and Astri also lent their voices to the event to talk about their experiences working for the state. The former had the opportunity to explain projects for the new capital city, with various technologies used by PT PP to accelerate the progress of the development of Nusantara, which of course increased the enthusiasm of students to ask questions and find out more about this strategic project.
Febry also explained that SOEs open up opportunities not only for graduates from state universities but for graduates from private universities who also have the same opportunity to join and contribute to SOEs.

PT PP expressed its appreciation for the educational institution and its willingness to collaborate. It hopes that this activity will benefit all parties for the progress of Indonesia, especially in inspiring the younger generation of Indonesia to keep innovating for the future and to consider a career in SOEs.
