resight AI Holding Ltd (Presight), a G42 company and leading big data and artificial intelligence (AI) analytics company based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and TOTM Technologies Limited (TOTM), a Singapore-based holding company of PT International Biometrics Indonesia (InterBio), have announced a strategic partnership through the formation of joint ventures via their respective subsidiaries for the development and global implementation of shared technology. The event was witnessed by Husin Bagis, Indonesian ambassador to the UAE, and Kamal R. Vaswani, Singaporean ambassador to the UAE. This collaboration signifies a closer partnership between technology providers listed on the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange (ADX) and Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX) for population identity and identification technology.

InterBio, an Indonesian company, has successfully developed biometric-based population identity and electronic know your customer (E-KYC) technology with over 10 years’ experience, and has supported the national population identity program with over 200 million registered citizens. Through this joint venture, Indonesian technology is ready to go global.

The joint venture leverages Presight's capabilities in big data AI, data analytics and on-demand cloud combined with TOTM's abilities to assist governments and businesses in implementing population identity and E-KYC technology faster, with lower investment and revenue potential.

For governments, the joint venture offers a public-private partnership (PPP) concept, allowing public-private sector partnership that can lead to digital transformation and increased government revenue.

Irawan Mulyadi, commissioner of InterBio, stated, "This collaboration is a significant milestone in our journey toward digital transformation, aligning with InterBio's ambition to expand biometric-based digital identity products and solutions. With the strategic partnership between Presight and TOTM/InterBio, this becomes more achievable and adds value with international standards."

Presight CEO Thomas Pramotedham said, "We are excited to partner with TOTM to develop, integrate and implement biometric AI solutions in the public security, health care and fintech sectors in the Middle East, Africa and Southeast Asia. This partnership holds a unique position to better support our clients in their digital transformation journey, enhancing the digital ecosystem for long-term and sustainable value with the combined technology of Presight and TOTM. A robust and dynamic digital identity platform is a crucial foundation for building a stronger, more inclusive, secure and resilient digital order."

TOTM has appreciated and strengthened the value and resilience of technology platforms for identity and biometrics management. TOTM Technologies CEO and executive director Pierre Prunier also welcomed the establishment of this joint venture. "We are proud to announce this partnership with Presight, a significant milestone in TOTM's journey as our technology is well-received to facilitate countries transitioning to digital-based national identity systems through public-private sector partnership models."

The establishment of this joint venture entity will enable Presight and TOTM to address challenges arising from outdated information technology architectures, adapt to emerging technologies and social imperatives and enable cost-effective implementation and operations. It will also expand the reach and benefits of a broader digital identity for governments and their citizens.

The jointly developed technology with Presight will be based on a modular architecture allowing seamless integration between government ministries, cloud-based and API-based services. With this approach, initial implementation can be achieved relatively quickly and cost-effectively, providing a solid foundation for modular scalability and enhanced functionality and connectivity, laying the groundwork for a robust ecosystem of electronic population services and digital corporate solutions," Pierre Prunier emphasized.
