Pertamina corporate communications vice president Fadjar Djoko Santoso said Pertamina Eco RunFest 2023 was the largest annual event held as part of Pertamina's 66^th anniversary celebration in 2023, demonstrating Pertamina's commitment to the environment and public health. He noted that the event was highly sought after by the public, as evinced by the increasing number of attendees each year.

“Pertamina Eco RunFest 2023 is an environmentally friendly festival that encourages the Indonesian community to maintain their health while also nurturing their love for the environment,” said Fadjar.

With the tagline “Energizing Your Move”, Pertamina presents Ecofest, consisting of the Energizing Music Festival and Eco Market.

According to Fadjar, the Energizing Music Festival will feature cross-generational musicians on three different stages spread throughout the Istora Senayan area. Visitors will be serenaded, with performances by Tulus, Raisa, Afgan, Yura Yunita, D'Masiv, Andien, Lyodra, Kunto Aji and Ziva Magnolia. They will also sing along with Project Pop, Armada, Juicy Luicy, Efek Rumah Kaca, Fourtwnty, Idgitaf and Wika Salim.

Visitors will also have an enjoyable experience at the Eco Market, which collaborates with Folkaland as the market curator.

Pertamina has collaborated with local creative and sustainable communities, including Ibukardus, Setali and Benih Bunbun, to conduct several educational workshops utilizing recycled materials. Pertamina is also offering water refill stations to reduce plastic waste from packaged drinking water and encourages visitors to bring their own bottles. Additionally, the company provides charging stations and various installations that are visually appealing. This initiative serves as an educational platform and introduction to an environmentally-friendly lifestyle for the general public.

“At the Eco Market, visitors will be presented with local brand tenants and Pertamina's fostered partners offering a variety of organic and environmentally friendly products. Therefore, we encourage all attendees at this event to bring their own personal drinking utensils or tumblers,” added Fadjar.

Presale tickets for Ecofest sold out in less than a week after ticket sales began. Following this enthusiasm, normal Ecofest tickets have also sold out, totalling 8,500 tickets. As of now, nearly 20,000 participants have registered to join the Pertamina Eco Run and Eco Fest.
