T

his Ramadan season, Frestea, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Indonesia (CCEP Indonesia), and Dynapack Asia are partnering with Mahija Parahita Nusantara Foundation to create a program that will reinvigorate interest from customers and support waste collector communities alongside disadvantaged families across 15 locations around Indonesia. Titled Ramadan Berbagi, the program started on March 29 and will continue until April 20.

A realization of Coca-Cola’s commitment to support the Indonesian community, this initiative aligns perfectly with the compassionate themes of Ramadan.

“Each year, we aspire to be able to embrace the meaning of Ramadan, which is thankfulness, community and compassion for those in need. We feel honored to be a part of Ramadan, the largest and most joyous moment in Indonesia. Our initiative to serve waste collectors alongside the Mahija Parahita Nusantara Foundation is a way for us to support the community in Indonesia.” said Triyono Prijosoesilo, Public Affairs, Communications and Sustainability director of PT Coca-Cola Indonesia.

This program will entail the distribution of over 6,000 iftar meal packs, which includes beverages during Good Wednesday and Good Friday. It will include the sharing of around 750 packets of staple food with waste collectors and selected families across Indonesia, namely in North Sumatra, Java and South Sulawesi. Additionally, basic food donations are also supported by Dynapack Asia, a joint venture partner for Mahija Parahita Nusantara Foundation alongside CCEP Indonesia.

Elaborating further on why CCEP is conducting this initiative, Lucia Karina, Public Affairs, Communications and Sustainability director of CCEP Indonesia added, “At Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP), we are committed to making a positive difference in both our workplaces and local communities. As part of this commitment, we are collaborating with the Mahija Parahita Nusantara Foundation, FRESTEA, Dynapack Asia and Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Indonesia to distribute iftar and basic food packages. We believe in the power of togetherness and are always working hand in hand with our partners to support noble initiatives that bring smiles and happiness to the underprivileged.”

Aside from the aforementioned initiatives, Frestea is also offering several consumer promotions during the Ramadan period. The first offer is its digital sampling gamification, distributing over 500,000 free product vouchers redeemable at Alfamart. The next promotion is its collaboration with GoTo, providing GoRide/GoCar vouchers for customers who purchase any Frestea meals combo through GoFood. Lastly, there is its collaboration with Tokopedia, offering limited time travel vouchers, by purchasing any Frestea Nusantara bundles through the official Coca-Cola Indonesia page on Tokopedia

"When most of our consumers drink tea for iftar during Ramadan, Frestea is ready to offer them our special promotions to celebrate Ramadan with family and friends together," Triyono concluded.
