co-friendly sustainability is what the world needs today in the face of continuous technological advancements amid climate change, while delivering simplicity and functionality.
With its philosophy of “efficient, compact and precise innovation” to enrich lives and help create a better world by preserving precious moments, Epson builds devices that contribute to building climate solutions.
Putting its customers first and armed with vast industry experience and knowledge of diverse social issues, Epson envisions a carbon negative future by eliminating the use of underground resources. In line with this, it has launched two new products in its Epson EcoTank Ink Tank Printer series: the Epson L8050 A4 and the Epson L18050 A3+WiFi, both of which utilize Epson’s Heat-Free Technology.
Demonstrating its commitment to a greener world and better lives, the latest EcoTank Ink Tank Printers offer top-of-the-line printing solutions for producing images up to A3 size, perfect for graphic designers and general businesses alike. They can also print DVDs and CDs, as well as produce ID cards with zero graininess, for less worry and best quality to match printing needs.
“The Epson EcoTank series has always aimed for the purpose of providing the highest quality customized printing for businesses, individuals, incorporating unique needs with our new technology,” Syahrizal Aprianto, Head of Printer Product Marketing at PT Epson Indonesia, said during the launch event on Thursday.
The company is also venturing onto new ground in the photo printer segment, renewing its vision by adopting decarbonization, closed resource loop, customer impact mitigation and environmental technology development. Epson’s 2030 vision is to reduce total emissions from its operations, starting with a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program that includes mangrove planting.
New EcoTank functionality
The newest models in Epson’s EcoTank Ink Tank Printer has an expanded capacity to hold six ink bottles, compared to an average of four, with the addition of Light Cyan and Light Magenta to bridge all colors to produce superior and seamless prints. This dream has gotten even more surreal with this cost-effective production, beyond its printing features.
Epson Indonesia’s Planning and Product Promotion senior designer Itsna Az Zahra and mobile application developer Edi Susanto contributed innovations for the new L8050 and L18050 printers, including the Epson Creative Print app.
An all-in-one app, Epson Creative Print comes with a bundle of features, including preset background designs and patterns with boundless applications, such as printing gift-wrapping paper and cards. It also offers an option to upload pictures to produce more personalized and individualistic fit-for-purpose prints. Whatever the color or design, Epson Creative Print expands the functionality and creative outputs of the EcoTank L8050 and L18050, which are also designed for flexibility in accommodating various weights and types of paper.
Edi contributed by coding the upgraded app, imbuing it with his vision of a multifaceted platform that allows users to explore their individual creativity, simply by clicking on a few intuitive features, including instant sharing on Instagram. Itsna meanwhile contributed to the L8050 and L18050’s lightweight design for better portability and efficiency.
“The new Epson EcoTank series aims to be an all-in-one printing solution with speed and efficiency, optimal for both business and personal home printing,” Syahrizal said.
