ekari, the leading digital solutions company in Indonesia, has announced the return of the Mekari Conference, a technology conference which will bring together thousands of experts, decision makers and entrepreneurs to discuss the impact of technology on business in the future.

In its fifth year, Mekari Conference 2023 will take the theme of “Digital Reinvention for Tomorrow's Business”, and will be held on Sept. 7, at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City, Tangerang, Banten.

Mekari CEO Suwandi Soh explained that as with previous years, Mekari Conference 2023 will discuss the latest topics in the market so that participants will be able to receive information and insights that can be directly applied to their business.

“Indonesia's economy has stabilized, but new challenges are emerging requiring businesses to remain well-versed and agile in processing the market. Current and future technology, especially artificial intelligence [AI] will play a major role in helping businesses to anticipate and adapt to the market dynamics. In this regard, Mekari Conference 2023 will bring together experts and professionals to discuss business strategies and technology adoption that will allow businesses to achieve success for this year and later on," said Suwandi.

Mekari Conference 2023 will present various sessions featuring experts and leaders from major industries, including financial services, banking, beauty, education and food and beverages.

In addition, the conference will also hold classes where business founders and experts in their fields will provide training on business and career development, such as marketing strategies, financial planning, increasing productivity and maintaining mental health.

"Mekari Conference 2023 will share insights not only for businesspeople, but also professionals who want to build and grow their careers because Mekari also sees the importance of having reliable talent for the sustainability of the Indonesian economy," Suwandi added.

Irawan Harahap, CEO of digital tech ecosystem and development Sinar Mas Land, said that Sinar Mas Land, through the Digital Hub, is proud to be a part of Mekari Conference 2023.

"Since 2017, Digital Hub BSD City has consistently constructed technology infrastructure to support the digital economy. However, this infrastructure requires businesses and professionals to optimize its utilization to create innovative products and services. In that sense, Digital Hub BSD City fully supports Mekari Conference 2023 as a source of inspiration for the adoption of technology for business and professional progress," added Irawan.

To support the development of the digital economy in Indonesia, Sinar Mas Land launched the 25.86-hectare Digital Hub in 2017, aimed at digital and technology communities and companies ranging from start-ups and technology leaders to educational institutions in the field of information technology. The development of infrastructure and physical facilities is directly connected to the BSD Green Office Park (GOP) business area, which has become home to a number of national and multinational companies including Unilever, Traveloka, NTT Data, SIRCLO, MyRepublic, KlikDokter, SWAP, Monash University and many other leading technology companies.
