Padma Resort Ubud collaborates with Cibo! for exclusive italian buffet

P

adma Resort Ubud has partnered with the acclaimed Canggu-based Italian restaurant Cibo! Cucina-Deli-Gelateria for an exclusive culinary collaboration event.

On June 12, Padma Resort Ubud guests savored the authentic flavors of Italy from the breathtaking vantage point of The Puhu Restaurant, perched high above the lush Payangan jungle.

Part of The Puhu Restaurant's regular Italian Delights Buffet Dinner, the highlight of the evening included a pasta station featuring Cibo! executive chef Diego Martinelli, who worked hand in hand with Padma Resort Ubud’s executive chef Tony.

Originating from Bologna, Chef Diego Martinelli brought over 25 years of experience to the evening, serving dishes like artisanal tagliatelle in creamy parmigiano cheese sauce and spaghettoni in spicy aglio olio and pepperoncino sauce. The pasta, freshly produced daily by Cibo! Pasta Lab in Bali, is a rare local production in Indonesia.

The tagliatelle parmigiano was cooked in a classic giant cheese wheel for an authentic creamy flavor, while the spicy spaghettoni aglio olio was served with tiger prawn bites and crispy focaccia crumbs. Additionally, other dishes such as crispy roasted pork porchetta and roasted lamb leg offered a diverse and sumptuous dining experience.
