his December, five-star luxury resort Conrad Bali presents its third annual Festive Arcade, offering a unique opportunity to support Bali’s talented artisans while enjoying a luxurious tropical holiday season. Taking place each weekend from Dec. 7 to 25, the Festive Arcade combines Bali’s rich cultural heritage with creative workshops, festive feasts and sustainable décor, allowing guests to celebrate the holidays with purpose and elegance.
Guests can explore a curated pop-up market showcasing the work of more than 15 local makers. From handcrafted jewelry and artisanal ceramics, to sustainable housewares and eco-friendly skincare, the market offers thoughtful and sustainable gift options.
For those looking for a hands-on experience, the Festive Arcade offers immersive workshops such as pottery painting, leather crafting and personalized perfume making. Younger guests can join the fun as well, with holiday-themed craft sessions that add a magical touch to the season.
In addition to the Christmas tree lighting ceremony and a visit from Santa, children will also enjoy the Kura Kura Kids Club Christmas Party, complete with games and treats.
This year's festive theme adds a touch of elegance to the season with a Bubbles & Bowties Christmas celebration, while the New Year's Eve festivities will shine with a Bubbles & Bowties gala dinner.
The New Year's celebration offers a choice of a lavish poolside buffet or a six-course international menu at Eight Degrees South Restaurant. Both dining experiences promise exceptional culinary creations made with the finest ingredients, perfect for ringing in the New Year.
A standout feature of Conrad Bali's holiday décor is a six-foot eco-friendly Christmas tree created in partnership with Make a Scene Bali. This talented group of weavers and designers is known for their large, sustainable sculptures made from traditional coconut leaf weaving techniques.
The tree will be displayed in the resort’s lobby, showcasing Conrad Bali’s commitment to sustainability and support for the local community. The partnership with Make a Scene Bali, which began during the resort's 20th anniversary celebrations, continues to bring eco-conscious beauty to the holiday season.
Conrad Bali is also introducing a special edition of its beloved mascot, Komang, the plush toy monkey. All proceeds from the sale of this limited-edition plush will be donated to a local charity, further supporting the resort’s ethos of community giving during the holiday season.
"Conrad Bali is dedicated to creating experiences that celebrate local artisans and contribute to the creative economy. Our partnership with Make a Scene Bali and the activities at the Festive Arcade reflect our commitment to sustainable hospitality, while offering guests a chance to immerse themselves in Bali’s vibrant contemporary art scene and the joy of giving back," said Yoan Irma, commercial director of Conrad Bali.
This holiday season, Conrad Bali offers an unforgettable opportunity to celebrate with a perfect mix of luxury, sustainability and community spirit.
