he newest reimagining of the Robin Hood tale, Robin Hood: Origins, starring Taron Egerton (Kingsman: The Secret Service), Jamie Foxx and Jamie Dornan, is set to hit theaters March 23, 2018.
Directed by Otto Bathurst (Black Mirror, Peaky Blinders) and written by Joby Harold, the film depicts the journey of crusader Robin Hood, played by Egerton, as he battles against corruption long before he being regarded as a legendary fugitive.

Leonardo DiCaprio will reportedly be a contributing producer to Lionsgate’s Robin Hood: Origins, along with Jennifer Davisson Killoran, Basil Iwanyk, Tory Tunnell and Joby Harold.
Produced by companies Appian Way, Safehouse Pictures and Thunder Road, Robin Hood: Origins will run on both regular and IMAX screens, as reported by Slash Film. (mra/kes)
