feud between motivational speaker Mario Teguh and Ario Kiswinar has entered a new chapter following news that a DNA test had confirmed Kiswinar was Mario's biological son from his first marriage to ex-wife Aryani Soenarto.
“The DNA test results show that Ario Kiswinar Teguh is the biological son of Sis Maryono Teguh [Mario Teguh] and Aryani Soenarto,” Jakarta Police spokesperson Sr. Comr. Awi Setiyono told tempo.co on Friday.
However, the case is far from closed as the police will continue to investigate by examining several witnesses, including an expert witness.
Both Mario Teguh and Kiswinar conducted DNA tests at the National Police Hospital on Nov. 8.

News of the case first circulated when Kiswinar said he was the biological son of Mario Teguh during an appearance on the TV program Hitam Putih (Black and White).
“Yes, I am his son. I have all the legal papers stating that I am the son of Mario Teguh,” he told the show’s host Deddy Corbuzier at the time.
In September, Mario Teguh appeared on TV program Sapa Indonesia Pagi (Good Morning Indonesia), claiming Kiswinar was not his biological son. Instead, he said Kiswinar was the result of an affair between his first wife and another man called “Mr. X”.
Kiswinar and his mother Aryani then filed a lawsuit against Mario Teguh for defamation. (wir/kes)
