lthough it is advised to drink eight to 12 glasses of water daily, many people choose to drink coffee or tea in the morning. Having warm water instead could actually improve one's health. Here are the reasons why according to tempo.co:

Assisting digestion

Drinking warm water on an empty stomach is good for your digestive system; it helps particles move through the intestines.

Reducing weight

Water improves metabolic rate and makes blood circulate faster, therefore it burns fat in your body. It is recommended to infuse lemon juice and honey to increase the effect.

Combating nasal congestion

Those who often experience sore throats and nasal congestion should drink warm water as it helps to relieve the pain and thin mucus in the nasal passage. You may also add ginger and lemon into the water.

Warm water is able to increase your body temperature, therefore it makes you sweat. Toxins in your body are washed out through sweat.

Relieving menstrual cramp
