ntel Security Group is set on making the job of system administrators easier as it launches Threat Landscape Dashboard, an online reference that lists the latest malware and digital threats.

Previously called McAfee, Intel has acknowledged that it is challenging for cybersecurity professionals to grapple with so much information regarding viruses such as malware, phishing and ransomware. Hence, they created a dashboard that reveals the top threats in accordance to "the prevalence of attacks that exploit those vulnerabilities," according to the company's blog post.

The firm also has emphasized that in addition to showing links between exploit kits, campaigns and ransomware, the dashboard also provides extra details about threats by including its source, blogs and whitepapers. There is also a "risk score" for every campaign as well as a "media score" that depends on how much press and social media attention threats are receiving.

The antivirus software aims to expand the dashboard with more information and data about all threats through the advent of the RSS feed. (nik/kes)
