aritime Affairs and Fisheries Minister Susi Pudjiastuti has been the talk of social media timelines in recent days, following the emergence of photos of her in Twitterverse in which she is relaxing on a paddle board in the middle of the ocean sipping coffee and smoking a cigarette.

The minister initially posted a photo of herself in action on her paddle board.

A Twitter user commented on the picture, asking how she did in the end. Did she fall into the water? Susi replied with a picture of her relaxing on the paddle board, sipping coffee and holding a cigarette.

Netizens immediately responded to Susi’s photos, most hailing her as the coolest minister the country has ever had. Funny memes soon followed, which Susi retweeted to followers for them to enjoy.

Susi also received tweets and comments from Twitter users regarding her smoking, with some asking why she hadn’t quit the bad habit and others condemning her for setting a bad example. The minister replied to some of the tweets, agreeing with the public that smoking was unhealthy.

In one of the tweets, one of her followers said the minister of health probably would not like to see her smoking, and Susi replied with a picture of her doing a yoga pose on the paddle board, saying the health minister would probably like that picture better.

While the topic was slowly fading, another meme turned up of Susi’s reply to one of her followers that simply said, “No. It’s unhealthy.” The tweet has been screen-captured and prompted netizens to ask silly questions such as “Is it OK to fall in love?” with the screen-captured image attached as the "answer."

Unlike other ministers who often come across as being conservative, Susi is known for her straightforwardness and "rebellious" appearance, which includes a tattoo on her leg and the fact that she does not hide that she smokes. Her relaxed approach to social media is widely cheered by Twitter users, and it looks like she’s not going anywhere yet.
