Linkin Park has set up a suicide-prevention website to honor lead singer Chester Bennington after his suicide.
The site also functions as a space where Linkin Park fans can pay their respect, with social media posts updated in real time. The social media feed collects these message of condolences delivered by those using the #RIPCHESTER hashtag.
The Los Angeles county coroner has confirmed that the 41-year old singer hanged himself in his home in Palos Verdes, California, on July 20. Investigators did not find a note in his room. Bennington is survived by wife Talida Ann Bentley and six children.

Bennington struggled with substance abuse and was a victim of sexual abuse from the ages of 7 to 13. Linkin Park guitarist and vocalist Mike Shinoda said he had struggled emotionally while working on Linkin Park’s 2017 hit single "Heavy."
The band’s tour promoter, Live Nation, has announced that all dates on Linkin Park’s “One More Light” North American tour have been canceled. Collaboration with Blink182 was included in the tour. Blink182 also pulled out of the tour and has expressed sympathy for those mourning Bennington. (dan/kes)
