Established in April 2015 by Renia Ragaintan, Tara Sunoko and Ashka Sunarya, Svana Indonesia highlights kaftans in its Raya collection.

Said to be more varied than its previous collections, some of the peranakan themed looks come in pastel colors and prints as well as hand-drawn watercolors. The brand also offers printed palazzo pants and loose tops accompanied by kain lilit (sarong).

Mainly made of soft satin that falls naturally, the kaftans can be ordered online with an average price of Rp 1 million (US$70).

If you prefer a more casual style, This Is April offers a Lebaran collection that includes shirts, dresses and pants.

Coming mainly in soft colors like gray, nude pink, nude beige, pale blue and white, this collection enables customers to mix the look with other bottoms or tops, such as black leggings.

“Our concept [for our products] is easy to mix and match, so you can still wear them outside  of Ramadan,” said Maria Anggriani, CEO and founder of This Is April, during the launch on Thursday in South Jakarta.

Set to open stores in Malaysia, This Is April also encourages people to find their own style using its collection. The Blue Heriya dress, for instance, can be paired with culottes.

Outfit prices start at Rp 200,000 and can be ordered via the brand’s website.

KAMI

Established in 2009, Kami, also known as Kami Idea, was founded by Istafiana Candarini, Nadya Karina and Afina Candarini.

According to kompas.com, the brand has launched the Raya collection that consists of Mara, Hanagami & Versada and Promenade. Inspired by the sea, the Mara collection boasts patterns that describe where the sand meets the sea and other elements, including shells and bubbles.

Using blue, green, gold and light brown colors, the Promenade collection was the result of collaboration between the brand and Lace Story, a designer studio that specializes in custom design embroidery and fine lace.

Mainly made of different materials, such as lace, polycrepe and polysatin, the items can be bought at the brand’s store in Kemang, South Jakarta.
