an’t make up your mind as to wearing a T-shirt or a shirt? Balenciaga believes it has found the answer. The high fashion label recently came up an item that’s a bit of both - at a price few can afford.
The piece of clothing, part Balenciaga’s Fall 18 men’s collection, is available for pre-orders since May 23 and should be out in stores beginning on June 19.
According to www.balenciaga.com, the indigo T-shirt shirt has two wearing options: Wear the short sleeves shirt front drape effect or the long sleeves shirt with a back drape effect. Made of lightweight breathable poplin, the item is offered at a proud US$1,165.
Not a fashion item we see every day, the T-shirt shirt has caused a stir online. Some social media users expressed their bewilderment, while other reacted by creating memes, posting photos of themselves wearing double shirts to create a look similar to the Balenciaga T-shirt shirt.

Previously, the high fashion label, which is now under the creative direction of Demna Gvasalia, created an Ikea-inspired bag and a platform crocs. Ikea responded lightheartedly by creating an ad with guidance on how to identify their original bag.
