Everyone wants to be fit and healthy, but it is not easy to change a lifestyle.

Jason Tanu, founder of Blue Zone Center Indonesia, a recently opened establishment that promotes healthy living, suggested eating everything in moderation.

He recommended to gradually change your eating habits by reducing red meat and replacing it with vegetables.

“Be a conscious eater,” he told The Jakarta Post, underlining the importance of choosing whole foods over processed foods and avoiding fried dishes.

Jason stressed that, in order to have a healthy lifestyle, one needs to love eating healthy food.

He also mentioned that exercise is among the important elements of a healthy lifestyle.

“You can start by walking 30 minutes daily,” he said, adding that once you change your diet and start exercising, you can see the results in two weeks.

Last but not least, Jason said in order to be healthy, one needs to avoid stress.

“Go hangout with your friends,” he suggested, noting that finding a community or friends that share a similar lifestyle could help you maintain your new habits. (mut)
