nglish heavy metal band Judas Priest has openly invited President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo to attend its upcoming concert in Jakarta slated for Dec. 7.
"Dear President @Jokowi - We cordially invite you to attend our show on 7th December at Echopark Ancol and will be extremely honoured by your acceptance - Judas Priest are very excited to visit your beautiful country and perform in Jakarta! Best Regards Judas Priest," tweeted the band on Friday, which has so far received more than 480 retweets and 540 likes.

The concert is said to be the band's first ever performance in the country.
Slated to be held at Ecopark Ancol in North Jakarta, presale tickets for the show will be available from Saturday at 12 p.m. for Rp 450,000 (US$31). Regular tickets will be priced at Rp 650,000 and available on Sunday.

Jokowi is known to be a big fan of the band. He even attended one of their concerts in Singapore in 2012.
Netizens commenting on the tweet mostly expressed their pleasure and excitement regarding the invitation.
