The concert’s promotion coordinator Helly Chatalina said that the influence of digital technology was the reason for digitalizing the concert. “The music industry must also follow digital developments,” she said.

Helly declined to elaborate on the concert’s details, though she promises that Iwan will perform his hit songs. Also, in accordance with the concert’s title, Iwan will perform some of his unreleased singles.

Helly hopes the concert will be the biggest digital concert in Indonesia.

Iwan Fals is famous for his unapologetic lyrics criticizing the ruling government. In recent years he has often collaborated with younger artists such as Noah, Nidji, Geisha and D’Masiv. (iru/kes)
