"This partnership with KCON widens the opportunity to deliver Korean content, including K-dramas, K-beauty, K-food and K-Pop, to fans on Twitter around the world," said Kim Yeon-jeong, Twitter Korea’s head of global content partnerships.
"Over the years, Twitter has partnered with various K-Pop festivals to bring Korean culture to the world, including the Mnet Asian Music Awards [MAMA] and the Soompi Awards. We're excited to continue expanding the content partnership centered on K-Pop events, as well bring exclusive and live content to users across the globe."

Organized by Korean convergent content and commerce company CJ ENM, the festival has attracted over 1 million fans from around the globe since its inception in 2012.

Thanks to Twitter, fans were given the opportunity to enjoy an exclusive live stream of the red carpet event on Friday, as well as other features, like a 360-degree view, performances and backstage footage.
