Gojek has collaborated with rapper Rich Brian to launch the Cerdikiawan campaign.
Gojek launched Tuesday its Cerdikiawan campaign, which is said to be inspired by the limitless creativity of the Indonesian people.
For the campaign, Gojek is collaborating with Indonesian rapper Rich Brian, who recently released his latest album, The Sailor.
“Through Cerdikiawan, we invite the Indonesian people to be constantly creative in seeking smart ways to overcome inconveniences and incorporate a positive spirit in our daily lives,” said Bahari Chandra, Gojek’s creative director, in an official statement.
He added that both Gojek and Rich Brian had the same spirit, utilizing smart strategies to become global players after starting out in Indonesia. “Rich Brian is a true example of a cerdikiawan (life hacker) who has gone global. Whether in art or technology, Indonesians could play active roles in the world,” he said.

The campaign allows Gojek users to access The Sailor album, the “100 Degrees” music video and Rich Brian Is The Sailor documentary via the Gojek app.
Regarding the campaign, Rich Brian said, “My success is due to the will to aim high and working hard to realize the dream. The Sailor is about my attempts to make my dreams come true. I always believe that endeavors, tenacity and courage will always give the best results."
Gojek is currently holding the Cerdikiawan Awards, inviting the public to create smart innovations in solving daily problems. More information is available here.
Rich Brian rose to prominence with the single “Dat $tick” in 2016. After the album release in late July, Spotify held an immersive exhibition celebrating the rapper’s latest album in Jakarta from Aug. 8 to 10. It showcased his personal history behind the album and a visual gallery where every track came to life with exclusive voice notes. (wng)
