Since the band split in 2000, it reformed in 2007 for its first reunion tour and then again in 2019 after announcing several reunion shows and headlining slots at the Coachella Music Festival in California.

Rolling Stone reported that the “Public Service Announcement” tour is to be supported by American hip hop duo Run the Jewels and is to kick off in El Paso, Texas on March 26. All proceeds of the first three shows are to go directly to immigrant rights organizations.

RATM is to play in the United States and Europe over the seven-month tour, with stops that include California, Chicago, New York, Leeds, Paris, Berlin and Prague. The tour is to finish on Sept. 10 in Krakow, Poland.

There hasn’t been any announcement of an Asia-Pacific leg for the tour as of yet.

Tickets for the "Public Service Announcement Tour" are to go on sale through the band’s website on Thursday.

Formed in 1991, RATM is known for its radical politics and anti-establishment lyrics. The band has released four studio albums and is considered one of the most influential musical groups in history. (mad/wng)
