Jakarta Post

Following the COVID-19 outbreak in the country, and with Jakarta as the city with the highest number of cases, more and more companies, even individuals, have been asking for their premises to be sterilized. While citizens have been urged to stay at home and implement social-distancing to contain the virus spread, many disinfectant workers across the city have been busier than ever in recent weeks.

The Jakarta Post spoke with a disinfectant worker from Sinttesis pest control service Heru Susanto and ISS Indonesia spokesperson Rakhmah Tersier Asri to learn about the spike in demand for their services and how the companies ensure the safety and the well-being of their frontline staff amid the virus outbreak.
