AKARTA: Police arrested Revaldo Fifaldi Surya Permana on Tuesday for alleged drug use — almost three years after the actor was released from prison for drug possession.

Aldo, best known for his portrayal of Rangga in the sinetron (soap opera) Ada Apa dengan Cinta (What’s Up with Love) was arrested on Jl. S. Parman with two friends on allegations the trio possessed 50 grams of crystal methamphetamine, Jakarta Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Boy Rafli said, as quoted by metrotvnews.com.
A urinalysis test conducted after Aldo’s arrest was positive for drug use, Boy added.
The 28-year-old started his career as a model and played Bono in the film 30 Hari Mencari Cinta (Finding Love in 30 Days).
In 2006, Aldo was sentenced to two years in prison after a police found one gram of crystal methamphetamine, a marijuana cigarette and five ecstasy pills in his home..
The 28-year-old was released in 2007 for good behavior. — JP
