AKARTA: Singer Mulan Jameela has refused to discuss reports that she gave birth to a beautiful baby and that musician Ahmad Dhani is the father.

Tabloid Nova interviewed Mulan’s ex-husband, Harry Nugraha, who said that the 31-year-old singer had just given birth to a baby.

“You have often asked about that. You may ask the person [Harry] directly,” Mulan, who was accompanied by several bodyguards, told reporters on Thursday before leaving an event in Jakarta.

Dhani called the report a lie, saying he would report it to the Press Council, kompas.com reported.

“It was a lie. The journalist has apologized to Harry. The news was edited,” he said. —JP
