Senayan City shopping mall in Central Jakarta has organized Sacred Ramadhan, a parade of fashion collections for Idul Fitri from July 19 until Aug. 20. The event will also feature various acts such as Penta Boy and Snada vocal groups, Egyptian El Tannoura dance, as well as Abdul and The Coffee Theory, and also Percussion Collaboration Tetabuhan Lorong featuring Eno Netral on Aug. 19. Singer Andien and drummer couple Aksan and his wife, Titi Sjuman, will perform the day after.

Dance

Retno Maruti and Sentot Sudiharto will again collaborate in a showcase of a dramatic dance, entitled Suropati, on Aug. 31 and Sept. 1 at the Jakarta Playhouse. The Padnecwara dancing company will perform the dance, which tells the story of a fighter who successfully troubled the Dutch in the 18th century. It is a story about the fight against colonial rule. Suropati was initially performed in 2000. In the upcoming performance, production will apply a more realistic approach in costumes as well as in new arranged songs that will add dramatic and patriotic ambiance to the stage.
