US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is sharpening her criticism of an anti-Islam video that has provoked protests in the Arab world.
Clinton says the film is “disgusting and reprehensible”. She calls it a cynical attempt to offend people for their religious beliefs.
But Clinton says the US would never stop Americans from expressing their views, no matter how distasteful. And she says the film is no justification for violence or attacks on US diplomatic facilities and personnel.
Clinton said on Thursday the US was monitoring protests in Yemen and elsewhere. She is urging countries to take steps to prevent protests escalating into violence.
Your comments:
Muslims should be less sensitive. People who get easily provoked about their faith are weak. Someone who’s confident in his faith and beliefs wouldn’t be happy about provocation obviously but would never react violently; on the contrary he would feel untouched by it.
Clinton is right to express her disgust about the movie. And she is right to defend Americans’ freedom of expression.

The US does not agree to the effect of their freedom of expression, but blame the cause of the problem that has killed its ambassador.
Riswan
Always double standards.
In the past, the killing of an ambassador would elicit a declaration of war.

Where in any religion does it say it is acceptable to kill people? Until moderate Muslims take a stand and show that they do not accept these actions, followers of Islam will be looked on as a group of people who murder innocent people.
When does it stop? When do the actual followers of Islam stand up and speak out?
