JAKARTA: Aside from preparing for a gig in the United States, rock band Kotak is also busy with a new single that will be on the soundtrack for the film Lupus.
The song, titled “Inspirasi Sahabat” (Best Friend’s Inspiration), is about a young man who inspires other young people.
“We saw Lupus as a character that has a lot of friends, has interesting love stories and is always cheerful. We took that as the main idea for the song,” vocalist Tantri said as quoted by tribunnews.com.
To support the character, the song has an upbeat tempo with cheerful lyrics so as to inspire listeners, said bassist Chua.
“The song was created when we were jamming. In less than a day we created the music and the lyrics. The recording only took one night,” she said.
