Pro Continental team expected to Tour

he organizers of the Tour d'Indonesia 2013 cycling race is expecting Pro Continental teams to take part in the event scheduled for Oct. 25 to Nov. 5.

"Registration for the race hasn't opened yet, but we are trying to approach the Pro Continental teams to participate," consultant for the Tour d'Indonesia 2013, Jamaludin Mahmood said on Thursday as quoted by Antara newswire.

He expected that participation from the Pro Continental teams would boost cycling competitions in Indonesia.

Tour d' Indonesia will span a distance of 1,500 kilometers with 10 laps in 10 cities, in five different provinces.

"We cannot officially reveal the route yet," said the organizer, Ismed Mohd Noor.
