One of two female teachers, identified only as R, who allegedly appeared in a sex video circulating on the Internet, has been fired.
It was recommended that the other teacher, T, also be fired, the head of Cisarua's education management unit Aas Turmika, said as quoted by tempo.co.
Three people allegedly participated in the home-made sex video. They have been identified only as SS, a board member of the Bogor regency chapter of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI); R, a contract teacher at a public elementary school in Cisarua; and T, a contract teacher at a public preschool (PAUD) also in Cisarua.
Aas said the teachers were not fit to teach anymore because they had engaged in an 'immoral' act. Teachers should be role models for their students, he went on.
Bogor Police chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Sonny Mulvianto said that the police were still conducting investigations into the case. SS was still at large, he added.
The sex video, lasting about six minutes, became the talk of the town in the Cisarua area because many residents recognized the faces of the three people.
Making a pornographic video or agreeing to be in one, even if only for private viewing, is punishable under Law No. 44/2008 on pornography. Any violation is subject to a maximum of 12 years' imprisonment.
