Singer Anggun Cipta Sasmi, better known as Anggun, is about to launch her own perfume.
'The name of the perfume is 'Grace', which means my name, Anggun,' the singer said as quoted by tempo.co, adding that the scent would be released first in Indonesia.
Anggun said that it took her two years to get the right aroma for the perfume, which will be manufactured in Grasse, a city in France with a great reputation for perfumery.
During its making, Anggun said that she worked with several experts who asked her a host of questions, from her interests to things that aren't directly related to fragrance.
'I told them that I liked the smell of cloves, as they remind me of my [late] father, because he liked to smoke cigarettes,' she said, adding that the perfume will carry fragrances of white tea, jasmine and a bit of musk.
Anggun said she would recommend Grace to women who loved beauty, were independent and would never forget their origins.
