'The $9 million investment includes the construction, efficiency solutions and the supply of the [CCHP] technology,' Asean GE Distributed Power growth and strategy director Made Wiratma said, as quoted by kontan.co.id.
Construction of the plant is set to commence in mid-2015.
Made said that the project's engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) would be conducted by PT Raharja Galuh Energi, a joint venture between publicly listed gas transmission and distribution company PT Rukun Raharja (RAJA) and PT Galuh Citarum.
Meanwhile, PT Adidaya Bismawisesa Internasional will operate the PLTG.
GE will supply three GE Jenbacher J620-type CCHPs, which will help optimize the supply of electricity supply to consumers.(nfo)(+++)
