T

he match between PSM Makassar and Sriwijaya FC at the Andi Mattalatta Mattoangin Stadium in Makassar on Saturday ended in a 3-3 draw.

The host'€™s three goals were scored by Syamsul Chaeruddin in the 25th minute, Nemanja Vucicevic (52) and Aditya Putra Dewa (76). The visiting team had Goran strike twice in the 44th and 81st minute with the other goal coming from Mouri Makan in the 69th minute.

PSM coach Hans Peter said it was a tough game with Sriwijaya aggressive in its chase for its first win. '€œOur players were drained because of the tight game. Sriwijaya'€™s players did not relent in the attacks,'€ he said.

PSM is in mid-table with four points after it won its opening match against Persiba Balikpapan, while Sriwijaya has drawn in its three matches to collect three points.

PSM-Sriwajaya is one of two final fixtures in the QNB League '€” the other between Barito Putera and Gresik United '€” before competition comes to a halt as the Soccer Association of Indonesia (PSSI) is looking to find a way to resolve its differences with the Youth and Sports Ministry and Indonesian Professional Sports Agency (BOPI) over Persebaya Surabaya and Arema Indonesia'€™s eligibility in the competition.

The decision to suspend the league was made on Friday.
