Guess what?: Details of Tamara case emerge

AKARTA: Two weeks after actress Tamara Bleszynski accused I Wayan Putra Wijaya, also known as Wayan Sobrat, of grabbing her by her hair, the man has clarified the matter.

The case started on April 14 when Wayan allegedly pulled Tamara’s hair while she was riding a motorcycle with her friend, Adrian T. King, in the Canggu area. The actress swiftly reported the case to the North Kuta Police.

“I did not pull Tamara’s hair or threaten her and her son,” Wayan said in a text message sent to Tribun Bali on Wednesday.

“[The accusation] is just Tam’s way to get popularity…. She used me,” he wrote, referring to Tamara.

According to Tribun Bali, Wayan was once a property conglomerate with a net wealth of Rp 8 billion (US$605,700).

“WS [Wayan] and Tamara were close but not dating,” Wayan’s friend said on the condition of anonymity. “But after he became broke, Tamara stayed away from him.”
