29 killed, 166 wounded in twin bombings near Istanbul stadium

A Turkish official says that twin blasts outside a soccer stadium in Istanbul have killed 15 people and wounded 69 others.

Turkey's interior minister says Istanbul bombings kill 29, wound 166.

The attack, which appeared to have targeted police, struck shortly after the conclusion of a match late Saturday.

Earlier, a Turkish official said on condition of anonymity that twin blasts outside a soccer stadium in Istanbul have killed 15 people and wounded 69 others.

Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu says one of the blasts was thought to be a car bomb and the second appeared to have been caused by a suicide bomber.
