View all search resultshe Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned a member of House of Representatives Commission IV, Budi Heryadi, on Monday, in connection to a graft case involving the New Atas Market project in Cimahi, West Java.
Budi, from the Gerindra Party faction, was summoned as a witness for suspect Atty Suharty, kompas.com reported. Atty has been named a suspect in the case in her capacity as then Cimahi mayor. She ran for reelection in the Cimahi mayoral election on Feb. 15.
KPK will question other witnesses, namely Dairul; Samiran, alias Samin; and Mohd Ikhsan Fasuri.
Atty's husband, M. Itoc Tochija, who was Cimahi mayor for two terms before Atty, has also been implicated in the case.

The KPK said Atty and Itoc had allegedly been promised Rp 6 billion (US$450,000) by businessmen Triswara Dhanu Brata and Hendriza Soleh Gunardi in illicit kickbacks.
The Rp 57 billion project is scheduled to commence this year. (rdi/bbs)
