ore than 150 chefs of Aerofood Catering Service (ACS) will work for 24 hours in three shifts to make sure that King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia and his entourage enjoy their food during their eight-day visit in Indonesia.

ACS, a catering business of airline Garuda Indonesia, will be responsible to help the king's cooks in preparing Middle Eastern food for the king.

"We're known for our halal food," Garuda Indonesia's Corporate Communications head Benny Butarbutar said on Tuesday.

The company won the award of World's Best Airline for Halal Travelers in 2016. This achievement was one of the reasons why ACS was trusted to serve the King through March 9, Benny added.

ACS' chefs will provide the best local ingredients then to be prepared by the king's chefs. The chefs will serve the king and his entourage at every place they visit.

During his visit to Indonesia, King Salman will be accompanied by 1,500 people , including 25 princes. (hol/dmr)
