fter a three-day state visit in Jakarta, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud departed for Brunei Darussalam on Saturday before vacationing in Bali.
The royal Saudi aircraft took off from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport in East Jakarta at 9 a.m. Vice President Jusuf Kalla escorted King Salman to the airport.
“The king departed for Brunei on Saturday morning,” Kalla’s spokesperson, Husain Abdullah, said as quoted by kompas.com. King Salman will depart for Bali on Saturday afternoon.
Before escorting King Salman to the airport, Kalla met with 16 Saudi princes. The meeting was held to follow up several issues discussed by the Vice President and King Salman at Raffles Hotel during a dinner on Friday evening.
“In his talk with Vice President Kalla, King Salman in principle committed to implementing all partnerships that have been agreed upon with the Indonesian government,” said Husain. (mrc/ebf)
