inger Ashanty becomes one of the readers during a poetry reading event for poems composed by Kompas daily newspaper journalist Bre Redana.
Ashanty read a poem titled “New Urban Sensation! Sebuah Novel” (New Urban Sensation! A Novel), which was introduced by Bre during the event at the Galeri Indonesia Kaya (GIK) in Thamrin on Tuesday.
She said that she was very nervous because it had been a long time since she read poetries in front of many people.
“The last time I read poetries in front of many people was in elementary school,” Ashanti said as quoted by Kompas.com.
Ashanty becam even more nervous when her husband, singer and politician Anang Hermansyah, came to the event.
“I told him not to come early but he arrived even before the show started,” she said.
