he body of an unidentified man was found hanging on the side of the Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) toll toad in Petukangan Utara, Pesanggragahan, South Jakarta, on Friday.
Pesanggrahan Police chief Comr. Eko Mulyadi said the body was found by a scavenger named Tarmidi at around 10:30 a.m. “Tarmidi was scavenging when he saw the body,” Eko said as quoted by kompas.com.
The witness then stopped a passing highway patrol car and asked for help. A patrol officer in the car contacted the Pesanggrahan Police immediately to transport the dead body to a hospital.
The body was tied to a tree with a yellow rope, Eko explained in the statement. There were no signs of violence to the body, which is currently undergoing an autopsy at Fatmawati Hospital in South Jakarta. (vny)
