Officials meet police summons on Tanah Abang road closure

Jakarta Transportation Agency deputy head Sigit Wijatmoko visited Jakarta Police headquarters on Friday to meet a summons issued in relation to a report filed by Cyber Indonesia that claimed the closure of a road in Tanah Abang had contravened prevailing regulations.

akarta Transportation Agency deputy head Sigit Wijatmoko visited Jakarta Police headquarters on Friday to meet a summons issued in relation to a report filed by Cyber Indonesia that claimed the closure of a road in Tanah Abang had contravened prevailing regulations.  

Sigit, who arrived at 9:48 a.m. for questioning, was accompanied by the agency’s traffic management division head, Ferdinand Ginting.

Sigit refused to speak to the press prior to the questioning session, but confirmed that he would be investigated as a witness.

“We will be examined as witnesses,” Sigit said in a short message as reported by tribunnews.com. In addition to the officials, the police will also question expert witnesses.

Police previously questioned on Monday Jack Boyd Lapian from Cyber Indonesia in relation to the filed report. (vny)
